One of the numerous challenges small businesses face around the world is managing limited resources. Resources to get things done are most times not enough, and it's important to maximize resources for maximum productivity. So whether it’s time, money or both, here’s a list of my top 10 tools to help you maximize your resources.

Wave Accounting Cost - Free This is a cloud based accounting software, designed for small businesses to record financial transaction. It includes expense and revenue recording, financial reports and add-ons like timesheets, payroll, credit card payments and more. You would be pleasantly surprised by how much you can get done with this software.

Gmail for Business Cost - $5 This service goes for an amount you'll toss in the river for good luck; for only $5 a month, you get a robust business email address. This is a great option for those who can't afford to purchase the office 365 and do not want to use the email systems offered by web hosting companies.

Google Drive Cost - Free This is another free service that makes available up to 15GB of free cloud storage for you to store and share files, and collaborate with teammates. All of which can be accessed anytime and from anywhere with an Internet-enabled device.  Your Google Drive is automatically linked to your Gmail account, which allows for easy file sharing and storage.

Echecks by Duluxe Cost - $30 This platform makes giving out checks easy peasy; enter in the payee’s name and email address and the check is emailed. No stamps or envelopes needed!

Hootsuite.com Cost - $19 Social media accounts management can get pretty tasking as you switch from one application to the other, this platform takes that away as you can now manage all your social media accounts from a single screen.

MailChimp.com Cost - Free Newsletters promote your brand, and it's a subtle aggressive marketing strategy. With MailChimp, you can design and distribute email campaigns, and even track performance analytics. It is a great way to strengthen the bond you have with your existing customers as well as win you new ones.

Phone.com Cost - $9.99 This is a sophisticated call forwarding service that ensures you never miss a call.  It provides a business phone and fax number, and even includes phone extensions forwarding as well.

Fiverr.com Cost - $5 Fiverr as it’s popularly known is a marketplace to outsource for whatever services you need for as low as $5. Almost everything you need can be found on Fiverr.

Suntrust Payroll Cost - $50 Suntrust bank offers a full service payroll for its small business clients. It processes payroll, tracks PTO, files and pays payroll taxes, processes year-end w2 and offers employee logins portals.
